This vanity renovation was a small space with a very specific opportunity: create more function without losing the client’s love of pattern, color, personality, and entertaining.
Helen had already worked with the client as an organizer, which meant the project started with trust and a strong understanding of how the space needed to work. The existing vanity area needed better storage, better lighting, and a clearer design point of view. The challenge was to make a focused renovation feel useful, expressive, and worthy of the client’s maximalist style.

Helen updated the vanity area with improved storage, stronger lighting, and a more colorful, pattern-forward design direction. The goal wasn’t to make the space quieter or safer. It was to make it work better while giving the client more of the personality she already loved.
The result is a small but memorable transformation that brings more color, function, and delight into a daily routine. It’s proof that even a single vanity can feel like part of a larger world when the design has enough intention behind it.
