This Galveston home gave Helen the rare chance to turn her own point of view into a lived-in example of the brand: color, art, personality, irreverence, entertaining, and enough ease for everyday life.
The challenge was to make the home feel deeply individual without letting it become overdone. The rooms needed to hold bold creative choices, a growing art collection, and the owners’ love of hosting, while still offering comfort, function, and a natural sense of flow. A long-dreamed-about library also became part of the vision, creating a more intimate space for books, conversation, and the kind of everyday wonder that makes a home feel like a world of its own.

Helen shaped the living room, dining room, office, primary bedroom, and primary bath around the way the home is actually lived in. Color, art, texture, and collected pieces gave each room its own personality, while the overall design kept the home cohesive and easy to enjoy.
The primary bath renovation added a more polished layer to the home, while the office and library concept gave the house a stronger sense of imagination and personal rhythm. The result is a Galveston home that feels expressive, comfortable, and unmistakably hers.
