Scope
Fully furnished entire vacation home (5 bedrooms, 2 living spaces, dining room) and exterior decks (pools side, 1st and second floor deck). This included sourcing and installing all the bedding. We also updated all the lighting throughout the home.

This Galveston vacation home needed to be ready for summer, but the clients didn’t want a standard beach-house setup. They wanted a seasonal home with color, comfort, and personality, along with healthier materials selected around low-VOC, no-VOC, organic, and Greenguard Gold priorities.
The clients were also working with Helen from a distance, which made trust and process especially important. Helen still hadn’t met one of the homeowners in person, so the project needed clear communication, decisive guidance, and a full-service approach that could carry the entire home from empty rooms to a ready-to-enjoy Galveston retreat.
The challenge was to make the home feel colorful, polished, and personal while honoring the clients’ material needs and family history.

We fully furnished the five-bedroom vacation home, including two living spaces, the dining room, exterior decks, lighting, bedding, art, and final styling. The main living areas were designed with no-VOC and organic custom upholstered furniture, along with custom wood case goods made by McNary’s Furniture.
Additional rooms were furnished with Greenguard Gold-rated pieces, and every bed was finished with 100% organic bedding. Helen also sourced fine art and reframed 12 pieces created by a grandparent, weaving the family’s own artwork into the final design.
The result is a Galveston home that’s island-ready, personal, and prepared for the family’s first summer by the sea.
